Ella Toad likes to play kickball, so she wears special red booties to shield her webbed feet from the impact. Then, when she gets hungry for waterlily bulbs, she hangs her booties from a shrub and paddles into the pond barefoot.
Ella herself is made of green organic cotton knit. She is stuffed with washable polyfill - she says it gives her just the right amount of buoyancy when she swims. Her eyes, hands, and feet are hand-stitched with cotton embroidery thread. She is 14" tall if you count eyeballs.
Ella's tutu is made of two layers of pink tulle. Her skirt and booties are removable, the better to share and trade with the other animals. If Ella gets dirty, she and her clothes can be hand-washed and air dried.
Ella will come your way in a reusable cloth bag, perfumed with a lavender and mint sachet. She might have cabin fever when she gets to your house; just give her some fresh air and a kickball and she should be fine.
